CEO, PPHI-B Dr.MB Dharejo called on Dr. Luay Shabaneh, Country Representative UNFPA and the strengthening of primary healthcare systems in Balochistan. During the meeting, Dr. Dharejo shared a comprehensive overview of PPHI Balochistan’s ongoing and planned initiatives, aligned with the One Umbrella Primary Healthcare model for the province.He highlighted PPHI’s facility based service strengthening approach and the integration of telehealth models to address challenges posed by Balochistan’s scattered population and vast geographical distances.Key future collaboration areas discussed included a long-term strategic partnership between UNFPA and PPHI, implementation of continuum of care models with UNFPA support and contraceptive procurement, and supply chain management by PPHI through UNFPA.Dr. Luay Shabaneh appreciated the vision and strategic direction of PPHI Balochistan and reaffirmed UNFPA’s continued support and partnership.
